This table displays the content areas and curriculum domains
in THCI's curriculum framework, along with related instructional
materials. The table lists four sets of THCI instructional
materials:
- Online: Modules available in THCI's Center for
Online Learning.
- CD-ROM: "Understanding Managed Care: Learning
the Essentials Through Case Presentations".
- Curriculum Guide: Sessions featured in the "Curriculum
Guide on Managing Care: A Systems-Based Approach."
The guide is scheduled for release in mid-2002.
- Courseware (Preparing Physicians-in-Training To Succeed):
Faculty guides and teaching materials on the defined topics.
Descriptions of these and other THCI resources can be found
under "Programs
and Products." In addition, the table cross-references
the 10 THCI domains with the competencies cited as training
goals for medical schools and residency programs by the following:
- Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
Outcome Project (six general competencies)
